Our Featured Junior Rider for March is Aminata Karakach

Aminata is twelve years old and is in ride 7. She has been riding for two years. In that short time, Aminata has already helped out with hay and shavings and has completed some rider levels. Last summer she took on the role of a Lancer Honour Guard for Doors Open Halifax.

The thing she enjoys most about Lancers is hanging out with people after riding. Her favourite horse is Tootsie!

One of her fondest memories of Lancers is her very first lesson. She rode Inga and was terrified but looking back on the experience she finds it funny because it wasn’t scary at all. When Aminata isn’t riding and enjoying her time at Lancers, she swims (is completing her bronze medallion), plays the violin and saxophone, and participates in Honour Choir. In the future, Aminata hopes to have her own barn.
